In the heart of London's Notting Hill, the Museum of Brands explores how brands shape, and are shaped by, people, culture and society. Our permanent exhibitions tell a fascinating story of how everyday lives have changed during the past 200 years. Larger historical events are explored through nostalgic everyday objects. Discover the evolution of travel and transport, entertainment and leisure, toys and games, with the arrival of hundreds of new brands that have brought convenience to our lives.

On your journey through the chronological Time Tunnel, you will find the arrival of Cadbury’s cocoa, steam railways, colour printing, Bovril, Shredded Wheat, Oxo, Mickey Mouse, television, Spangles, Omo, Dan Dare, Angel Delight, Barbie, The Beatles, Aqua Manda, Punk, Rubik's Cube and thousands more products which together create the rich tapestry of British life.

From November 2024 - April 2025, all tickets include admission to ‘AdWomen’, an exciting new exhibition exploring 100 years of women in advertising. This exhibition features iconic adverts from the 1920s to the present day, focusing on both women's roles in the creation of adverts, and on their portrayal within them: highlighting what has changed, what remains the same, and how brands can better represent women in the future.

After your visit, you can relax with a cup of tea in our café, or explore our award-winning sub-tropical garden. A range of books, merchandise and souvenirs can be purchased from the Museum’s gift shop.
