Thameslink reigns supreme in the thrilling "Destination Dash" on TikTok, showcasing the best of rail travel across the South East. From the historic streets of St Albans to the scenic vistas of London Blackfriars, Thameslink's team led the charge, winning the hearts of adventurers and the competition with flair and finesse.

The face-off between Team Southern and Team Thameslink was nothing short of epic, with six gripping challenges that tested their creativity, athleticism, and quick thinking. In the end, our Team clinched the victory with a remarkable score of 106 to 77, proving their mettle across three of the six challenges.

The real victory, however, extends beyond the competition itself: one fortunate TikTok supporter of Team Thameslink will soon be chosen at random to relive the adventure, basking in all the rewards and free travel perks that come with it.

Competition terms and conditions

Win five prizes in the ‘Destination Dash’ competition (the “Promotion”)

Terms of Participation in the Promotion (the “Terms”)

Eligibility

To be eligible you must:
- be aged eighteen years or over; and
- have a UK postal address.
Employees contractors, agents of, or any other person connected with the Promotor, Tullo Marshall Warren, St Albans Cathedral, Luton Football Club and Academy, Tate Modern, The Beach Watersports and Brighton i360, or any of their families or dependants are not eligible to Participate in the Promotion

Participation

This Promotion is available on TikTok only.
In order to participate in the Promotion, you:
- must follow both the Southern and Thameslink TikTok accounts, and you must comment #TeamThameslink or #TeamSouthern on the relevant competition posts on either Southern or Thameslink TikTok channels for the team you believe is going to win ‘Destination Dash’. You cannot comment on both TikTok accounts otherwise your entry will be disqualified;
- agree to be bound by these Terms in respect of the Promotion, the terms of the social media site on which you are entering the Promotion, and, if you are successful, the National Rail Conditions of Travel in respect of the train travel provided. You also agree to be bound by the terms of the provider of the Prizes, and those terms are set out in Annex A to these Terms. You acknowledge that failure to comply with these Terms may result in your disqualification from the Promotion and you will not be awarded the Prize
- must enter between the hours of 12 noon (GMT) on 19 February 2024 and 12 noon (GMT) on 22 February 2024 UK time; and
- you agree that any content you upload to TikTok in connection with this Promotion is considered non-confidential and non-proprietary and you understand it will be subject to TikTok’s terms of use.

Promotion and Winner Selection

If you satisfy the Eligibility Criteria and Participate as set out above, you will be entered into a random draw for a Prize.
One winner will be randomly selected for the Prize using a computer generator.
The winner of the Prize will be notified on 23 February 2024 via TikTok DM or a reply to their TikTok comment. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, or any other period specified in our contact notice, of the notification being sent or is otherwise not available, the Prize will be forfeited by them and the Promotor may select an alternative entrant to receive the Prize. The Promoter is not liable to you if you do not respond within the time stated.

The “Prize”

The winner will receive all of the following: pair of tickets for a Tower Tour at St Albans Cathedral. The tickets will be emailed to them by the Cathedral. A pair of tickets to a Luton Football Club game. Tickets will need to be collected from the Ticket Office on the day of the match. A pair of tickets to the ‘Capturing the Moment’ exhibition at Tate Modern. The tickets will be emailed to the winner from Tate. A £50 gift voucher from The Beach Watersports. The gift voucher will be emailed to the winner and lastly a pair of tickets to a flight on the Brighton i360. The tickets will be emailed to the winner.

Prize also includes off peak day return train tickets for two people from anywhere on the GTR network including Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern or Gatwick Express to each destination station on the GTR network nearest the location of each element of the Prize. The train tickets will be arranged by the Promoter’s marketing team and sent via email. Please see the website for confirmation of off-peak times for your journey. All journeys with these tickets must have been completed
The Prize does not include insurance or travel costs (other than the train tickets mentioned), personal expenses and anything not expressly stated to be included in the Prize.
Other than the Beach Watersports Gift Voucher which is valid for one year from the close of the competition the remaining elements of the Prize are valid until 30^th June 2024 and must be used before that date.
Only one entry per person.  No purchase necessary
The Prize is not transferable and, unless offered by the Promotor, there will be no substitutions, or cash alternatives of, for the Prize.
Use of the Prize is subject to availability.
No expenses incurred in connection with entry to or participation in this Promotion will be paid.
The winning selection of the Promotor is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promotor shall be entitled to have the right to refuse to accept any entry.
All entries are subject to verification.  Incomplete, bulk, automated and third-party entries (including “voting exchange”) will be disqualified.
Any entries that the Promoter considers (in our absolute discretion) to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal racist, copied, offensive, cruel, or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be immediately disqualified.
Failure to comply with these Terms will automatically render an entry void.
The Promotor does not accept any liability for any entries which are late, lost, incomplete or rendered.
The name and county/town of the winner will be available for one month after the prize draw closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promotor. The winner agrees to participate in any and all advertising, promotion or other commercial activities relating to the prize draw and consents and agrees that their photograph, image, likeness and voice may be used by the Promotor in all related promotional activity in any media without any rights of prior approval or inspection.

Consent

The winner consents to their personal data being used in this manner. In addition, the winner consents that their personal data will be sent to the Promotor, Tullo Marshall Warren, St Albans Cathedral, Luton Football Club, Tate Modern, The Beach Watersports and Brighton i360 and may be used for their respective promotional purposes, in addition the winner may be required to participate in reasonable promotional activities with each of those entities.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Privacy Policy

Except as outlined above all personal data will be held and used by The Promotor in accordance with its Privacy Policy and the Privacy Policies of St Albans Cathedral, Luton Football Club, Tate Modern and Brighton i360.
Participants may print these Terms or send a self-addressed envelope to Partnerships Marketing Team requesting a copy and they will be sent to you.
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms at any time without notice.
In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms, the Promotion itself or any other matter relating to, or arising out of, these Terms or the Promotion, the Promoter’s decision shall be final. No written correspondence or verbal discussion will be entered into.

This Promotion and these Terms are governed by the Laws of England and Wales and the Promoter and Participants agree that the Courts of England and Wales, exclusively, shall settle disputes.
