Planning and re-checking your journey

Timetables changed on Sunday 14 December, and a summary of the key changes is available below. 

It is sometimes necessary for us to make amendments to the standard timetables that are published below, and they will not reflect: 

  • Weekday, weekend and overnight alterations due to engineering work
  • Seasonal amendments to services, such as over school holidays, Easter, Summer or Christmas breaks 
  • Amended services to support events, such as sporting events or community celebrations. 
  • Any alterations due to on-the-day disruption 

Journey Planners are updated with alterations to services 12 weeks in advance so you can plan your journeys.

Ticket information

For details of the availability of Advance fares, visit the advance ticket availability information. Please note, there are currently no Advance fares for journeys solely on Gatwick Express services. If your pre-booked journey is changed, for example the time is amended, then you can either continue to travel on the revised timetable or apply for a refund.
