Here’s everything you need to know about bringing luggage with you on your Thameslink train journey – including details about bikes on trains, step-free access, and how to get help if you’re a disabled passenger.
Please don’t put luggage where it will block doors or stop other people moving through the train. Please use luggage racks or overhead storage if it’s available, and leave plenty of time to get your bags before you need to get off the train.
You can see if your starting and destination stations have step-free access by checking the station information page. This gives details of access facilities for each station.
There are left luggage facilities available at London Kings Cross station. It is under the Parcel Yard pub near platforms 9-11.
We can help you with your luggage if you’re disabled.
Try to give us at least one day’s notice so we can arrange for someone to give you a hand when you travel with us.
Please keep in mind that we cannot help with heavy bags. We’re also unable to help carry your luggage out of the station.
