Terms of Participation in the Promotion (the “Terms”)

1. Eligibility
   1.1 To be eligible you must:
    1.1.1 be aged 18 or over; and
    1.1.2 have a UK postal address
   1.2 Employees of the Promotor, The&Partners Group Limited and its subsidiaries, their families, dependants and agents are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
2. Participation
   2.1 To participate in the Promotion, you:
    2.1.1 must follow each of @tlrailuk, @southernrailuk and @gnrailuk on Instagram
    2.1.2 comment “#TeamThameslink”, “#TeamSouthern” or “#TeamGreatNorthern” on the Instagram post labelled ‘competition time’, published on Saturday 15th February, for the team you think will win the Dash;
    2.1.3 By participating, you agree to be bound by:
     a) these Terms;
     b)the terms of use of Instagram; and
     c) the terms of National Rail Conditions of Travel
3. Timing of Entries
   If you satisfy the Eligibility Criteria set out in 1, and participate as set out in 2, then you must enter before 11.59pm (GMT) Sunday 16th February to be entered into the prize draw.
4. Winners and Selection
   4.1 The first ten entries who have correctly predicted the winning train line selected by the Promotor at random using an automated generator will win the prize.
   4.2 The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message by no later than Friday 21st February.  If a winner does not respond to the message within 48 hours of it being sent or is otherwise not available, the Prize will be forfeited by them, and the Promotor may select an alternative entrant to receive the Prize.
5. The Prize
   5.1 The winner will receive a free Off-Peak return journey for up to four people (under 200 rail miles in total), using Thameslink, Southern, Great Northern and/or Gatwick Express services.  The train tickets will be arranged by the Promoter’s marketing team and sent via email. Please see the website for confirmation of off-peak times for your journey (“the “Prize”).
   5.2 The Prize is redeemable up to and including Thursday 22nd May 2025. It cannot be redeemed after that date.
6. Only one entry per person.  No purchase necessary.
7. The Prize is not transferable and, unless offered by the Promotor, there will be no substitutions, or cash alternatives of, for the Prize.
8. The Prize is subject to availability, and the Promoter has no liability in the event of any delayed, disrupted or cancelled rail services.
9. No expenses incurred in connection with entry to or participation in this Promotion will be paid.
10. The Promotor has the right to refuse to accept any entry. 
11. All entries are subject to verification.  Incomplete, bulk, automated and third party entries (including “voting exchange”) will be disqualified.  Any entries that the Promoter considers (in our absolute discretion) to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal racist, copied, offensive, cruel, or fraudulent, or infringe on the rights or copyright of others will be disqualified.
12. Failure to comply with these Terms will automatically render an entry void. 
13. The Promotor does not accept any liability for any entries which are late, lost, incomplete, or where there are any service issues with Instagram.
14. The name and county/town of the winner will be available for one month after the prize draw closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promotor.  If the winner objects to their information being made available, the winner must notify the Promotor by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promotor at Govia Thameslink Railway Limited of 3rd Floor, 41-51 Grey Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6EE.  By entering into the promotion, the Participant acknowledges that the Promotor may be required to provide the Participant’s name and county/town to the Advertising Standards Authority if required by law, even in circumstances where the Participant has requested that the Promotor does not publish the Participant’s information.
15. By entering into the Promotion, each Participant acknowledges and agrees that their Personal Data (meaning any data provided to the Promotor as part of the entry which could be used to identify the Participant) may be used by the Promotor for marketing purposes, and any other purposes described in these Terms.  This includes use of Personal Data for promotional purposes by the Promotor and its partner(s)..  If a Participant does not consent to such use of their Personal Data, then they may withdraw their consent by sending the Promotor a notice in the manner prescribed in its Privacy Policy.
16. Except as outlined in 14 and 15 above all personal data will be held and used by The Promotor in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
17. Participants may print these Terms or send a self-addressed envelope to: Marketing Dept, Govia Thameslink Railway, First Floor, Monument Place, London, EC3R 8AJ requesting a copy and they will be sent to you.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms at any time without notice.
19. In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms, the Promotion itself or any other matter relating to, or arising out of, these Terms or the Promotion, the Promoter’s decision shall be final.  No written correspondence or verbal discussion will be entered into.
20. The Promotor is Govia Thameslink Railway Ltd of 3rd Floor, 41-51 Grey Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6EE.
21. This Promotion and these Terms are governed by the Laws of England and Wales and the Promoter and Participants agree that the Courts of England and Wales, exclusively, shall settle disputes.
