Thameslink has a long-standing relationship with Luton Town Football Club, particularly supporting youngsters in its academy.

Thameslink have been an excellent partner for Luton Town Football Club, especially the academy and the players within it. Thameslink provide our apprentices with travel passes which enable them to attend training and games in order to aid their development. As an academy, we have players from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds and some of these would not be able to access training and fixtures if it wasn’t for the generosity of Thameslink. The partnership also allows our apprentices to give back to the local community via social action days such as the clean-up of Flitwick station. The relationship between Thameslink and Luton Town Football Club allows our academy players to develop both on and off the field whilst also helping to foster a greater community spirit.
